Spring 2023 Senior Capstone Project Funding
Academic Affairs, the Dean of Arts and Sciences (A & S), and the Dean of Computer Science, Data Science, and Engineering (CS/DS/E) have made funding available for expenses related to Spring 2023 Senior Capstone Projects in any A & S or CS/DS/E major. Business majors enrolled in the Business and Economics Honors Program are also eligible. View the application instructions and submit your funding request to capstone.shanghai@nyu.edu by 5 PM, Wednesday, February 15.

South Lingyan Road: Community Development & Local Food ExplorationFriday, February 17 | 1:30-4 PM | RSVP by Tuesday, February 14!
We will meet at Exit 1, South Lingyan Road Metro Station (灵岩南路地铁站).
One metro stop away from the campus, South Lingyan Road is a street full of hustle and bustle where urban redevelopment meets traditional lifestyle. Many residents in the neighborhood are relocated from Puxi. Jumingxin, a local community-based organization, will lead the tour in several urban renovation spaces. Each participant will be given a 20 CNY budget to try out food shops while completing interactive tasks.
Permaculture and Creative Cooking Challenge on Chongming IslandCEL Immersive Learning Day Trip on Sunday, February 26

Founded and designed by an architect, Heartland Farm on Chongming island is a perfect escape from the busy city. On this day trip, you will learn about the farm, enjoy farm fresh food, and immerse yourself in nature. Bring spare ingredients from your kitchen for a creative cooking challenge to make your own dinner!

Millennium Fellowship: Calling Student Leaders!The United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) and Millennium Campus Network (MCN) proudly present the Millennium Fellowship. This program convenes, challenges, and celebrates bold student leadership advancing the Sustainable Development Goals on campus and in communities. As a Millennium Fellow, you will hone your skills, take concrete action, and earn a certificate of recognition from UNAI and MCN. No cost is required for selected students.
